New Release: Audiobook of She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 3

It is with much joy and excitement that I proudly announce that the audio version of She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 3 has just been released!

As I've said numerous times, I've been amazingly blessed to have the series resonate so well with readers, and I'm elated to be able to release another title in audio. Moreover, the audiobooks appear to have found an audience, which doesn't always happen so I'm grateful that my work has been well-received in this format.

As previously noted, audiobooks allow readers to experience novels in an entirely new way. I think that audio allows the action and dialog to "come alive" in a way that is incredibly engaging and immersive.

As before, Audible has provided me with promo codes that can be used to give away free copies of the audiobook. If you already have an Audible account and would like a promo code, you can grab one here.

If you don't have an Audible account, you can get a 30-day free trial - along with a free copy of She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 3 - from the US Audible Store or the UK Audible Store.

Thanks for all your support, and I hope you enjoy the story in this format.

Now in Audio: She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 2

It's taken longer than anticipated, but the audio version of She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 2 has just been released!

It goes without saying that I'm incredibly thrilled. It's been a blessing to have the series be as popular as it is, so I'm hoping that - as more of them are released - the audiobooks will have the same type of reception as the print and ebook versions.

In my opinion, audiobooks allow readers to experience novels in an entirely new way. Being able to listen to the dialog and action seems to add an extra dimension to the story and can really immerse you in the plot.

As before, Audible has provided me with promo codes that can be used to give away free copies of the audiobook. If you already have an Audible account and would like a promo code, you can grab one here.

If you don't have an Audible account, you can get a 30-day free trial - along with a free copy of She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 2 - from the US Audible Store or the UK Audible Store.

Thanks for all your support, and I hope you enjoy this version of the story.

"She's His Drug, He's HerThug" is a Kindle Deal!

Great news! I 'm happy to share that She's His Drug, He's Her Thug is part of another Kindle Deal!

Just for today, it's priced at $1.49 - roughly 50% off the regular price. (Yeah, it's a bit of an odd price point, but Amazon chooses the price for these deals. Regardless, I'm not complaining...)

As always, I feel humbled and blessed to have my books included in any of these deals. Those sentiments also reflect how fortunate I feel to have supportive readers who enjoy my work.

In terms of what's next in the publication queue, I have a few irons in the fire. I'm trying to finish up the next two books in the Thug Life trilogy, and I have an idea for a story that I may put on Kindle Vella. I also have an idea for a series based on one of the other characters that's been introduced in my books, but we'll see how it goes.

Anyway, there's no rest for the weary, as they say, so it's back to writing.  Thanks again to my readers for all your support!

"She's His Drug, He's Her Thug" is the Kindle Daily Deal!

I feel incredibly blessed that She's His Drug, He's Her Thug is part of today's Kindle Daily Deal and on sale for $.99

For those who may not know, the Kindle Daily Deal is a curated list of titles selected by Amazon and put on sale. It's not clear how they select titles to be part of the deal, but it's probably one of those things that most authors have on their wish list. (It was certainly on mine!)

Basically, the Kindle Daily Deal is a big deal. A really big deal... Some authors have their books regularly included in the daily deal, but this is the first time for yours truly.

Needless to say, I'm both humbled and excited about having my book included. I'm also grateful to my readers, who have been nothing short of amazing in terms of their support and enthusiasm for my work. As I said earlier, I'm remarkably blessed with respect to all of this.

As you might guess, it's going to be hard to focus today, but I'm going to try to get some writing done. If you haven't picked up a copy of the book yet, now's your opportunity. (And it also makes a great gift!)  Thanks again to all my readers for helping me on my writing journey.

New Release: She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 4

I'm very happy to announce that She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 4 has now been released!

I had previously mentioned that I would be adding more books to the series, and even posted an excerpt a few months ago. I'm excited to have now made good on that promise.

As with the first books in the series, I enjoyed bringing back some of my favorite characters, as well as introducing some new ones. Frankly speaking, it's a little like a having a reunion, and hopefully readers will feel the same. (That's the thing about books; quite often, they're like old friends that you get to visit and catch up with.)

For those interested, the book is available in the usual formats: ebook, paperback, and hardcover. (And yes, I'm working on getting audio versions of all my titles. At present, though, only the first book in the series - She's His Drug, He's Her Thug - is available as an audiobook.)

Now, of course, it's time to press on to the next title. No rest for the weary...

Excerpt from She's His Drug, He's Her Thug 4

I've been blessed in that my series She's His Drug, He's Her Thug has been well-received by readers. Thus, it may come as no surprise that I'm currently working on a fourth book in the series. For those who may be interested, here's an excerpt:

_______________________________________________________________________

Seemingly relieved, their server Kat began walking towards the door, as did Mika. Kane, however, reached towards the coffee table and picked up the wine bucket, which still held the unopened bottle of Cristal.

“Hold up, nigga,” said the muhfucka on the loveseat. “Whachu thank you doin’?” As he finished speaking, the two niggas on the couch and easy chair came to their feet and walked over, flanking Kane.

Unfazed, Kane simply hoisted the wine bucket, saying, “I paid for this.”

The dude on the loveseat shook his head. “Naw, homey – that stay with us.”

Kane’s head tilted slightly, and he stared at the muhfucka who had spoken like he didn’t believe what he’d just heard, or that he must have heard it wrong. But before he could comment, Kat interjected.

“It’s okay,” she told Kane anxiously. “I’ll get you another bottle.”

Kane glanced at her as she spoke, then at Mika. On her part, Mika could sense the tension in Kane and knew that he was a hair’s breadth away from going apeshit – even with two muhfuckas flanking him and inside his personal space. Fortunately, looking at Mika appeared to calm him, and a moment later he seemed to relax.

“S’all good,” Kane suddenly declared to no one in particular.

“Damn straight it is,” stated the nigga on the loveseat, as Kane bent down to place the wine bucket back on the coffee table. “You just lucky I’m in a good mood.”

Following this comment, the muhfucka who had just spoken started chuckling, and a second later he was joined by his friends and the two stank hoes with them. Kane was still bent over at the time, with his hand on the wine bucket. Nobody but Mika noticed that he had suddenly gone rigid – or understood what it meant.

Faster than seemed possible, Kane grabbed the bottle of Cristal by the neck and whacked it fiercely against the kneecap of the guy on his right. That nigga doubled over, howling and grasping his wounded knee.

Straightening up, Kane then swung the bottle at the guy on his left, who was still laughing. It connected solidly with that fool’s jaw, snapping his head viciously to the side and spinning him around before he fell face-forward onto the floor, unconscious. By that time, Kane had turned back to the muhfucka on his right, who was still bent over. Kane brought the bottle down heavily on the back of that nigga’s head.

At that point, the bottle apparently decided it was tired of the abuse it was receiving and shattered, leaving Kane holding only the broken, jagged bottleneck. The dude that Kane had just hit dropped bonelessly to the floor and lay still.

Suddenly, the nigga on the loveseat jumped up and tried to rush Kane. The muhfucka presumably didn’t realize that Kane held a weapon: the broken bottleneck, which he slashed in an arc in front of him. That made the nigga charging at Kane not only check his advance, but also contort his body in an attempt not to get sliced. The effort threw him a little off balance, and he went stumbling back until the back of his legs struck the loveseat, causing him to flop down onto the seat cushions. But before he could recover Kane was on him, gripping his jaw with one hand while holding the broken bottle to his neck with the other.

“Get off me, muhfucka!” the dude on the loveseat suddenly growled.

“Ha!” Kane sneered, tightening his hold on the man’s jaw. “Nigga, you seriously need to learn how to read the room. Yo ass ain’t in no position to be makin’ demands. You might wanna get familiar with a concept called ‘leverage’.”

“Leverage?” the nigga hissed. “Im’ma show yo ass some leverage.”

“You gone do it in the next two minutes?” Kane asked. “Cause that’s how fast you gone bleed out after I slice yo throat open.”

“You ain’t gone do shit,” the guy uttered defiantly. “Do you know who the fuck I am?”

“Yeah,” Kane shot back. “You that muhfucka they gone be referrin’ to as ‘the body’ and ‘the victim’ on the six o’clock news. ’Course, that’s only ’til they can identify yo remains and then notify next of kin.”
